IDOC and VINE Routes
For a person committed to state custody, use the IDOC Individual in Custody Search. The local jail cannot confirm an IDOC release, projected parole date, or final discharge. A retained IDOC profile may show the correct parole district. Illinois VINE can provide custody and court-event notifications from participating agencies at VINELink Illinois or 1-866-566-8439. IDOC Victim Services assistance is available at 877-776-0755.
Choosing the Right Office
Match the question to the government system that owns the event.
- Ask the Sheriff or county FOIA officer for a Moultrie County Jail discharge, transfer, booking record, or booking photo.
- Ask the Circuit Clerk for the case order or docket that authorized a release or sentence.
- Use IDOC for a state-prison record, parole or mandatory supervised release status, or IDOC discharge.
- Use VINE for available alerts, then confirm the event with the feeding agency.
- Use federal BOP, USMS, or ICE sources when the person left on federal authority. The county jail is not a federal prison.
